5 Star Garage Door Service's North Lynnwood, WA crews handle everything from removing the old door to final balance testing in a single scheduled visit.
We built our Garage Door Installation service around North Lynnwood, WA customers who need a specialist, not a generalist working outside their depth.
We'd rather send one truck that's actually equipped for garage door installation than three that aren't, even if it means a slightly longer wait on a rare occasion.
We measure your actual opening rather than working from assumed standard sizes.
Steel, wood, aluminum, and glass doors each carry different tradeoffs — we walk through them honestly.
Most installs complete in a single visit, including old door removal and full testing.
We register warranty on your behalf where required.
The most common choice for durability and value — steel resists dents better than aluminum and needs less maintenance than wood.
Real wood and composite carriage doors add distinct curb appeal — we discuss maintenance expectations honestly, since wood needs more upkeep.
Lightweight aluminum frames with glass panels suit modern architectural styles — we reinforce mounting hardware since glass changes weight distribution.
Upgrading to an insulated door improves temperature control — it's especially worthwhile if living space shares a wall with the garage.
Older homes sometimes have openings that don't match standard sizes — we measure twice before ordering custom material.
Reach a live dispatcher at +1-866-597-3069 and describe what's going on with your door.
Most calls see a technician on-site within the hour, dispatch load permitting.
Your technician inspects the garage door installation issue and gives a flat-rate price before starting.
{Work is completed and tested through a full cycle before we call the job finished.|We verify safety function and smooth operation before asking for your sign-off.|Workmanship is backed by our guarantee, not just a handshake.}
"""Compared three quotes. Only one that actually measured before quoting a price."""
"""Old wooden door was falling apart. New insulated steel door installed clean in one day."""
"""They talked me out of the cheapest option once they understood our humidity issues. Appreciated the honest steer."""
"""Custom-sized opening from our older house. They measured twice and got it right the first time."""
"""Glass panel carriage door looks exactly like the showroom photo. Crew was tidy and fast."""
We clean up packaging and old hardware before considering the job finished.
Custom-sized doors can take longer due to sourcing time.
Wood adds curb appeal but needs more regular maintenance, especially in humid areas.
Insulation still helps moderate temperature swings and reduces noise.
Yes — we measure precisely and source or fabricate doors to fit non-standard openings.
If you specifically want to reuse hardware, we'll assess suitability first.
